Star Construction
A star construction relates to the theory of 'star image' and how this is constructed from a range of materials.
The materials he means are:
- Songs (lyrical themes and genres)
- CD Covers (image of the star they present)
- Media Coverage (interviews on career/private life)
- Live Performance (image presented in a live show)
- Music Videos (draw upon the image presented in other media)
It is important to note the parts of star construction when creating my own brand, as consistency is important between the music video, digipak and magazine poster in order to promote the brand identity.
